Winter Break in the Bahamas

February 2014

For the last four years, our painting workshops in the Bahamas were wonderful: great group, beautiful place, lots of time to paint, warm weather, and amazing beaches. What's not to like? So we've planned another get-away next winter to a warm and sunny island.

In the tradition of Winslow Homer, we'll be leaving winter behind for an art sojourn in a tropical paradise! So start planning now to join me for four days of painting at charming Elbow Cay, Abaco Island, Bahamas.

  1. Thats a very refreshing
painting .. Love the colors.. Like the warm colors that balance out the blue of the rocks.. Me just learning with trial and error..

  2. Thank you--glad you like this. Working hard, trial and error--all good!

  3. absolutely fantastic watercolor. It sings!

  4. Thank you, Mary. This was one of those paintings that felt totally improvised--nothing I was planning was working, and things got better once I gave up on staying in control!
